Properties: Dimenhydrinate is an H1 antihistamine belonging to the ethanolamine class. It has anti-emetic properties, by inhibition at the level of receptors of the Chemoreceptive Trigger Zone.
Instructions
Dogs and cats: For the treatment of motion sickness and vomiting.
Contraindications
Do not administer to animals less than 4 months old and/or weighing less than 2 kg.
Ingredients
Quadrisectable tablet:
- Dimenhydrinate: 50mg
- Lactose monohydrate
- Microcrystalline cellulose
- Colloidal anhydrous silica
- Glycerol dibehenate
- Magnesium stearate
Tips for use
In dogs and cats: 5 mg of dimenhydrinate per kg of body weight per dose, administered orally.
Precautions for use
Do not feed the animal just before the trip and only give a small ration a few hours before departure.
