This medication is a combination of 2 antiseptics which acts by fighting against bacteria present on the teeth and in the mouth. It helps reduce gingival inflammation and is used as an adjunctive local treatment for mouth infections.

Instructions

Contraindications

• Allergy to chlorhexidine, chlorobutanol or any of the other ingredients
• Children under 6 years old

Ingredients

• Chlorhexidine digluconate solution 0.5ml/100ml
• Chlorobutanol hemihydrate 0.5g/100ml
• Alcohol content: 42.8% (v/v)

Tips for use

Usual dosage: 10 to 15 ml of solution twice a day, diluted in the measuring cup. Brush your teeth before each use and rinse your mouth thoroughly with water before using Chlorhex./Chlorobutanol Biogaran.

Precautions for use

• This medication is for local use as a mouthwash. Do not swallow the solution.
• Do not put the product in contact with your eyes, nose or ears.
• Prolonged use may cause discoloration of the tongue, teeth, dentures or filling materials.
