Cooper Diaretyl 2mg is a medicine intended for the short-term treatment of acute, transient diarrhea in adults (from 15 years old). It comes in the form of 12 capsules and contains loperamide hydrochloride as the active substance.

Contraindications

Do not take in case of:- Chronic bowel and colon disease- Allergy to one of the constituents of the capsule- Children under 15 years old

Dosage and Directions for Use

Oral route. Start with 2 capsules in a single dose, then 1 capsule after each unmolded stool, but do not exceed 6 capsules per day and 2 days of treatment.

Precautions for Use and Side Effects

Do not leave this medicine within the reach of children. It can cause side effects such as constipation, stomach pain, nausea, fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness.

Rehydration Tips

It is necessary to rehydrate with plenty of drinks and eat during diarrhea. Eliminate raw vegetables, fruits, green vegetables, spicy dishes and frozen foods or drinks.

Important Information

Do not take this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting your doctor. Do not combine with other medications containing loperamide. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you take.
