Dafalgan 500mg Paracetamol: Pain And Fever
Dafalgan 500mg is a medicine containing paracetamol, used to relieve pain and reduce fever. It is indicated for pain such as headaches, flu-like conditions, dental pain, aches and painful periods.
It is reserved for adults and children from 27 kg (approximately 8 years old). The dosage depends on the child’s weight and the recommended daily dose is approximately 60 mg/kg/day.
Tips for use:
- Start with the lowest dose (500mg) and never exceed 1g per dose.
- Wait at least 4 to 6 hours before taking another dose.
- Do not exceed 3g per day and do not exceed 5 days of treatment.
- Avoid alcohol consumption during treatment.
Contraindications:
- Allergy to the active substance or any of the ingredients.
- Serious liver disease.
Precautions for use:
- Check that you are not taking any other medicines containing paracetamol.
- Tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
