Instructions

Forlax is indicated for the treatment of constipation in children aged 6 months to 8 years.

Contraindications

Never give Forlax 4 g Powder For Oral Solution to your child if:

• He is allergic (hypersensitive) to macrogol (polyethylene glycol) or any of the other ingredients contained in this medicine
• He has severe bowel disease
• He has fructose intolerance (rare hereditary disease)

Ingredients

The active substance is: macrogol 4000, each sachet containing 4.00 g.

Tips for use

The usual recommended dosage depends on the age of your child:

• From 6 months to 1 year: 1 sachet per day
• From 1 to 4 years: 1 or 2 sachets per day
• From 4 to 8 years: 2 to 4 sachets per day

Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a glass of water (at least 50 ml) immediately before giving it to your child.

Precautions for use

Cases of allergic reactions have been reported after taking medications containing macrogol (polyethylene glycol). If your child has any of these symptoms, contact your doctor.

Possible side effects
