Hartmann DermaPlast Soft 8cmx5m Dressing 1 Piece

The DermaPlast Soft dressing is a non-active, single-use, self-adhesive and non-sterile device. It is made up of an adhesive reinforcement material and an absorbent pad, protected by a layer of silicone paper.

Properties

• Skin-colored non-woven reinforcement material
• Medical type adhesive based on transparent synthetic rubber
• Absorbent compress with two layers: exudate transmission layer and absorption layer
• Protective layer of siliconized paper

Usage

Intended for humans, without restrictions, for use by lay users and healthcare professionals. Can be used on intact or damaged skin for short-term use (60 minutes ≤ duration ≤ 30 days) or for prolonged use (24 hours < duration ≤ 30 days).

Indications and Contraindications

Indicated for wounds. Not indicated for the treatment of post-surgical wounds, high bleeding wounds, ulcers or chronic wounds.

Reusing a single-use medical device is dangerous. Disposable components should be disposed of in accordance with disposal procedures stipulated in local laws and regulations.
