ImodiumDuo 12 Tablets – Effective treatment against diarrhea

ImodiumDuo is a drug treatment designed to relieve the symptoms of acute diarrhea, including spasmodic pain, bloating and flatulence. Each tablet contains two active substances: loperamide hydrochloride, which helps reduce diarrhea by slowing intestinal transit, and simeticone, which facilitates the coalescence of gas bubbles in the intestine.

Instructions

ImodiumDuo is used in adults and children aged 12 and over to treat acute diarrhea with spasmodic pain, bloating and flatulence.

Contraindications

Never take ImodiumDuo if you are allergic to loperamide, simeticone or any of the other ingredients, if you have a high fever, if you have chronic bowel or colon disease, or if you are constipated.

Tips for use

Swallow the appropriate number of tablets whole with a glass of water. The recommended dose is 2 tablets for the first dose, then 1 additional tablet after each loose stool, without exceeding 4 tablets per day.

Precautions for use

ImodiumDuo only treats the symptoms of diarrhea. If symptoms persist or worsen, contact your doctor. It is important to rehydrate yourself by drinking more fluids than usual.

Ingredients

The active substances are loperamide hydrochloride (2mg) and simeticone (125mg). Other ingredients include calcium hydrogen phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, acesulfame potassium, artificial vanilla flavor and stearic acid.

Important information

ImodiumDuo contains less than 0.026 mg of benzyl alcohol per tablet. It is essentially « sodium-free » and contains less than 0.00044 mg of alcohol (ethanol) per tablet.
