Phenergan 2% Promethazine Pruritus Cream Tube 30g – Local Symptomatic Treatment of Pruritus

Phenergan 2% Promethazine cream is a local symptomatic treatment for pruritus, particularly insect bites. It is composed of 2% promethazine and is available in a 30g tube.

Properties and Indications

• Local symptomatic treatment of pruritus (insect bites)
• Apply in a thin layer, 2 or 3 times a day
• Wash your hands after use
• Cutaneous route
• Do not use for more than 3 to 4 days without medical advice

Contraindications and Precautions

• Never use Phenergan 2% Promethazine Pruritus Cream: infected lesions, eczemas, oozing lesions or if you are allergic to the active substance or one of the other ingredients
• Do not expose yourself to the sun or UVA rays during treatment
• This medicine contains lanolin (wool fat), cetostearyl alcohol and methyl parahydroxybenzoate, which may cause local or allergic skin reactions

Ingredients

• Excipients: stearic acid, mixture of cetostearyl alcohol and sodium cetostearyl sulfate, cholesterol, wool fat, trolamine, glycerol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, lavender essential oil, purified water
• Active ingredient: promethazine 2.00 g per 100g of cream

• Start treatment of allergic manifestations one evening
• Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children
• This medicine may cause local or allergic skin reactions
