Lomexin is a synthetic antifungal drug belonging to the imidazole class, recommended for the local treatment of genital candidiasis (conditions caused by microscopic fungi) superinfected or not by Gram+ bacteria.

Contraindications

• During pregnancy
• Use with spermicidal products (risk of inactivation)
• Use with male condoms or latex diaphragms
• If you are allergic (hypersensitivity) to peanut or soy, due to the presence of soy lecithin
• Hypersensitivity to one of the components (or cross-sensitivity with other members of the imidazole group)

• Soy lecithin
• Gelatin
• Glycerol
• Titanium dioxide (E171)
• Sodium ethyl parahydroxybenzoate
• Sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E217)

Fenticonazole nitrate: 600.0 mg (amount corresponding to fenticonazole base: 527.1 mg)

Tips for use

A 600 mg capsule at bedtime, as a single administration. The treatment consists of a single administration. The capsule should be inserted deep into the vagina, preferably in a lying position.

Precautions for use

• Keep out of the reach and sight of children
• Do not interrupt treatment during menstruation
• If symptoms worsen or persist, consult a doctor
