Mepiform is a soft, sterile self-adhesive silicone dressing designed to treat and prevent the formation of hypertrophic and keloid scars. It is also effective in improving the appearance of old scars. Its unique Safetac technology provides atraumatic removal for the wound and surrounding skin, as well as painless removal for the patient.

Instructions

Mepiform is indicated for the treatment of recent or old hypertrophic scars, and for keloids. It is also used as a prophylactic treatment on closed wounds to prevent hypertrophic or keloid scars.

Tips for use

Wear the dressing 24 hours a day for optimal results. It can be removed when washing (showering or bathing) to inspect and wash the wound. In the event of maceration or skin reaction, remove the dressing until the symptoms disappear.
