Esomeprazole Mylan is a medicine in the proton pump inhibitor class which reduces acid secretion in the stomach. It is used to treat a variety of conditions, including gastroesophageal reflux disease, stomach and duodenal ulcers, and excess acid in the stomach.
Instructions
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Ulcers of the stomach or duodenum in case of Helicobacter pylori infection
- Ulcers associated with taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
- Excess acid in the stomach due to Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
Dosage
The usual dose is one Esomeprazole Mylan 20 mg capsule once a day. However, your doctor may adjust the dose based on your health and liver function.
Precautions for use
