The Smith&Nephew Opsite Dressing Spray Transparent is a protective film that dries quickly and is waterproof. It is indicated for small surgical wounds and dry superficial wounds, and is easy to apply even to difficult areas.

This spray is made of a soft and flexible film which naturally follows the movement of the skin without being damaged. It does not contain chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) propellants and is free of latex, rosin, phthalate (DEHP), chlorofluorocarbons (CFC) and PVC.

Product specifications include a specific gravity of 0.805-0.821 and a maximum water content of 0.3% w/w. It complies with the EN ISO 10993 standard for the biological evaluation of medical devices.

Indications for use include small cuts, abrasions, scrapes and burns, as well as external orthopedic fixation and protection of blisters. It is important to note contraindications, such as use on plastic intravascular devices or on children younger than 18 months.

The product contains ingredients such as acrylic copolymer, ethyl acetate, acetone, isopropyl alcohol and propellants. It is recommended to shake the spray well before applying it evenly to the site at a distance greater than or equal to 15 cm.

Precautions for use include avoiding inhaling the product, keeping it out of the reach of children and using it in a well-ventilated area. It is also important to take precautions to avoid contact with eyes and textile materials.
