Tanakan 40mg is a herbal medicine indicated in the symptomatic treatment of certain cognitive disorders in the elderly, in particular memory disorders. It is exceptionally used for cases of confirmed dementia, disorders secondary to medications, depression or metabolic disorders.

Contraindications

• Among children
• During pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Concomitant use of this medication with efavirenz
• If you are allergic to ginkgo or any of the other ingredients contained in this medicine

Active ingredients

• Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba L.) (refined and quantified dry leaf extract) 40.00mg
• Flavonoids expressed as flavonic glycosides: 8.8 to 10.8 mg
• Ginkgolides A, B and C: 1.1 to 1.4 mg
• Bilobalide: 1.0 to 1.3 mg

Tips for use

The tablets should be taken with half a glass of water at mealtimes. 3 tablets per day, spread throughout the day. The duration of treatment should be determined by your doctor.

Precautions for use

• Stop this medication 3 to 4 days before any surgical procedure due to the risk of increased bleeding
• Talk to your doctor before taking Tanakan 40mg if you have a predisposition to bleeding or if you suffer from epilepsy

Conservation

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
