Description: This medicine contains ibuprofen, used for the symptomatic treatment of fever and pain in infants and children. It is indicated for infants over 5 kg (and over 3 months) and children under 12 years (around 30 kg).

Indications:

• Symptomatic treatment of fever and/or pain
• Symptomatic treatment of chronic juvenile arthritis

Contraindications:

• Allergy to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients
• Pregnancy beyond 5 months
• History of allergy or asthma triggered by taking this or a related medication
• History of gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers related to previous treatment with NSAIDs

Ingredients:

• Active substance: ibuprofen 20.0 mg for 1 ml of oral suspension
• Other ingredients: sodium benzoate, anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate, sodium saccharin, sodium chloride, hypromellose, xanthan gum, liquid maltitol, strawberry flavor, azorubine (E122), glycerol, purified water

Tips for use:

• Reserved for infants over 5 kg (and over 3 months) and children under 12 years (around 30 kg)
• The usual dosage is 20 to 30 mg/kg/day in 3 doses per day

Precautions for use:

• Talk to your doctor if your child does not feel better or feels worse
• Do not exceed the recommended doses or the duration of treatment
